Many people looking for a dentist also need a doctor, and this group lists the medical clinics, family physicians, urgent care and walk-in centers, hospitals, pediatricians, eye doctors, medical specialists and pharmacies near the dental practices on the site. Primary care in the US runs through family doctors and internists who coordinate referrals; urgent care centers handle minor injuries and illnesses without an appointment for far less than an emergency room; hospitals with emergency departments are the place for severe facial trauma or a dental infection that spreads. Pharmacies fill the antibiotics and pain medication a dentist prescribes and sell fluoride rinses and prescription-strength toothpaste.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Pittsburgh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Before I got there, I was not sure I was making the right decision by getting help for my TMJ. I did not know much about TMJ, but my condition was really bad, so I took a deep breath and went. From the first second I walked into their office, I was greeted with kindness and warmth in an office with two very knowledgeable assistants, Jennifer and Kelly. They know exactly what I need to do and developed a great plan for helping me get through this. But I want to talk about Dr.Hnat. He is an expert. He knows what he is doing. But, he is also kind and compassionate. He knows he is dealing with scared people who are in a lot of pain and he handled it beautifully. I am so grateful to have a TMJ doctor of this high caliber, who is less than an hour away. This organization is a treasure. I wish I had known about them sooner. I could have saved myself a lot if pain. I would give them a higher-than-5 rating if this form allowed.

I’m a general dentist. Dr. Hnat successfully and quickly treated my dislocated TMJ disc using PRF and laser therapy, along with a bite splint. This treatment was fairly quick, painless and very affordable. He is absolutely top notch and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Hnat and his team are highly skilled professionals. They successfully resolved an issue that no one else could fix. While the process took some time and required multiple steps, it was entirely worth it. I am now completely pain free. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for top tier care!

My jaw was locked closed. I could barely open it the width of one finger. Dr. Hnat was able to see me quickly to unlock me. He has you move your jaw certain ways and takes measurements. An average person can open their mouth 46-54mm and I could only open 18mm. He did a painless adjustment on my jaw to get it unlocked and back into alignment. I had a 1 week check up , and a 1 month check up. Everything looks and feels good. Grateful to Dr. Hnat and his team for helping me.

Dr Hnat and his staff are very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable! The initial consult and follow up visits were extremely thorough, he alway took the time to explain our plan of action in detail and answer any questions I had. They created a custom orthotic splint mouth guard device plus I had 2 laser sessions and it was half the price of what i was quoted elsewhere for a mouth guard only. I had been struggling with TMJ for 5+ years and it was very much affecting my quality of life, but i no longer have debilitating headaches or symptoms that interfere with my daily life and activity. I cannot thank him and his team enough! If you are suffering with TMJ and facial pain I highly recommend coming here
